Rick C. Sasso MD, Served as a Faculty Member at the Cervical Spine Research Society
Rick C. Sasso MD, Indiana Spine Group, just returned from the Cervical Spine Research Society annual meeting held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada… where he served as a faculty member. Dr. Sasso was invited to lecture on the cervical spine unintended consequences of chemical prophylaxis for prevention of venous thromboembolism. Co-authors from the Indiana Spine Group, Joe Smucker, MD and Justin Miller, MD, presented research papers at this prestigious cervical spine meeting titled: “Long-term clinical outcomes of cervical disc arthroplasty: A prospective, randomized, controlled trial.” and “Adjacent-level degeneration after Bryan cervical disc arthroplasty compared with anterior discectomy and fusion.”
The Cervical Spine Research Society held its 44th December 1-3, 2016.
