Rick C. Sasso MD, Indiana Spine Group, served as a faculty member for the America Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons at its annual meeting held in San Diego California March 14-18, 2017. The Academy asked Dr. Sasso to present to its members twice during this meeting the current state of “Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery” and its progress over the next year. The Academy also asked Dr. Sasso to serve on a Cervical Spine panel titled “Ask the Experts”. During Specialty Day-the Federation of Spine Associations asked Dr. Sasso to give lectures on Cervical Disc Replacement, and the current surgical treatment of Isthmic Spondylolisthesis.

Dr. Joe Smucker also presented a clinical research study performed at Indiana Spine Group titled “Long-term clinical outcomes of cervical arthroplasty: A prospective, randomized, controlled trial.”
